Private boat dock with four kayaks available for your use, shared with a separate cottage and driveway to the right , Bring your own boat and/or jet-skies. Immaculate and impeccably designed to the highest standards.
Great for all occasions & getaway’s, content creation, photography / film, retreats, a guaranteed impeccable stay. Central air, fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths - it will feel like your own home sweet home! The master suite features a Tempurpedic king size bed, 47 inch smart TV and an amazing on-suite stone bathroom.
Across from the master is the second bedroom with a Tempurpedic queen size bed. The guest bathroom has a stunning floating double vanity making it easier for everyone to freshen up!
The third bedroom, located upstairs (note the ceiling has a slight roof pitch) 2 twin race car Tempurpedic beds. These beds are 96 inches long, so an adult can sleep comfortably.
The living room offers a pull out queen size sofa sleeper, as well as a queen size Tempurpedic Murphy bed.
There are plenty of in/outdoor games; pool, ping pong, air-hockey, corn hole, dart board, card games and the list goes on!
Kayaks with life vests for all ages infant to adult! Sit back on the boats dock and experience an oasis of peace and serenity by the lake. The sundeck, which overlooks the lake has a grill and plenty of seating to enjoy the outdoors and soak up the sun and gorgeous sunsets.
At night, flip on the outdoor string lights and enjoy the astonishing ambiance. The yard is large and has a fire-pit and Adirondack chairs so you can cozy up and enjoy some s’mores.
Working vacation? No problem! We’ve got you covered with an office desk setup that includes a monitor to work from while looking directly out at the water! It is OK to work on vacation, as long as you do it right!
Conveniently located via Route 39 just an hour and twenty minutes from NYC.
Driveway can fit multiple vehicle's. Plenty of room if you are towing a boat, jet-skis, quads, or RV's. Boat launch is just .5 miles away! Launch the boat and dock it at your private dock! Or, you can go down the road a bit to Candlewood Lake where there is also a boat launch.
The living rooms 65 inch smart TV is complete with all the apps you need to sign in & watch for your entertainment!

The center of town in New Fairfield is just down the road. Stop & Shop grocery store, deli’s, liquor store, bars, & restaurants.
This property has a 2nd cottage completely separate from this main house to the right on the same land whom you share the kayaks and dock with, the total property in 2.8 acres each having 1.4 acres.
Other guests may be seen or pass through to access the kayaks and/or boat dock. The dock accommodates 2 boats so there is no problem if the other guest happens to be there at the same time with their boat - but that is an extremely rare occurrence.

Summary: Four of us celebrating having or soon to turn 40. House was amazing - I understand some of the comments about the steep hill down to the water, but that did not stop us (use the driveway, don't go down the grass!). Communication with the host was fantastic, the house was in great shape, and there are plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, etc. nearby. We all agreed it's one of the best houses that we've rented.

Summary: The house was clean and nicely decorated. Had lots of things to do inside and out. Was slightly disappointed that the lake wasn’t closer. when looking on the pictures we didn’t notice that there was a main street between the house and the lake. It wasn’t easy for for some of the guests who get down the steep hill from the house to the street and then another sleep hill to the lake. As long as you know that going into the rental, you’ll be fine.

Summary: The house and view of the the lake where beautiful, we went in early spring. There was a lot of games and activities to do in the house the kayaking was nice and everything you needed was included in the house and was very pet friendly. That all being said there was a surprisingly amount of ants for this time of year inside the house, it didn't bother us too much but I can imagine it could be a problem for someone else. The washing machine also wasn't working, additionally note that the house is on an extremely steep hill so getting that kayaks back up was a challenge to say the least it turned into a whole family full body work out. All that being said would 100% come back we had a great Time. All

Summary: Home was pretty much what we had hoped. There were a couple of issues that were explained or taken care of quickly. Well stocked kitchen, fun location mattresses were comfortable. Over perfect for our stay.

Summary: We had a friend group boardgaming weekend and this was perfect for our purposes. The table was large enough for our biggest games and the pool table doubled as a backup playing space. The race cars are a nice touch of whimsy too :-) Our only suggestion would be to replace the oversized, too-low chandelier over the table but really only a minor thing.

Summary: We had a wonderful time at the cottage. The check in is super easy. We arrived from California having been delayed 6 hours and frozen! The house was so warm and cozy. There is a beautiful view from the closed in porch. Can’t wait to come back during summer.

Summary: We enjoyed our time over Thanksgiving. The location was convenient and we had fun playing games in the cottage when the weather was not good for exploring. We really liked all the great hiking trails nearby. The cottage has some really nice upgrades, especially the primary bathroom shower, but it has been heavily used. The pictures do make the space seem bigger than what it is. Overall, it’s a very nice place and the manager was very responsive to our questions.

Summary: This house does have a lovely view that allowed us to take in the changing leaves off the reflection of the lake. The house is smaller than it appears in the photos and not quite as comfortable to just hang out, at least inside.The couch fits three, but there aren't other chairs in the living area. There are great little outside areas though. Communication with Katherine was great. Previous tenants had broken the washer which was a drag and due to weather (drought conditions) we couldn't use the fire pit or grill. (Obviously, no fault of the host!) It was clean but lacked the coziness we were hoping for. I would caution folks with little kids to rent, just because the street is so close and very busy. The final night it got really chilly and the heat didn't kick on.
